Boxing Therapy was founded in Israel in 2018, after an American born, social worker and personal trainer began integrating self defense techniques for her clients who had been through traumas. Since then, the modality has been developed to treat individuals and groups suffering from a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, Spectrum disorder and emotional regulation issues. The therapists come from backgrounds in mental health, personal training and self defense disciplines. The therapy is a safe space, where consent and the clients unique strengths are not only invited, but at the core of the treatment
